These lil charms I got in Mexico City last year, I got a lil bag full and they are called Milagros. "Milagro means "miracle" in Spanish and are small charms or talisman's made of copper, tin, pewter silver, or gold. This silver charm jewelry is kept by devoted believers of a faith or given as an offering of gratitude to the shrine of a saint. It is believed that milagros charms are endowed with supernatural powers that will heal any ailments that the carrier may have. They are also said to help in granting favors, wishes, or prayers to the owner of the milagro."
