Ugh! I can smell the whiskey on my breath from last night. We were on our way to Cat Power and we found out that it was cancelled MAN O MAN! Sonia was lucky, she got to drive Chan to the DR!!! So jealous, i'd love to meet her. Since the show was cancelled we decided to go to Casey Moores and drink our sorrows away.
Good news tho! The landlord is FINALLY getting security doors for our apartment and measuring my front window for a new one. My front window is falling out due to termites and age. It wont lock and you can pull the whole thing out of the frame. Most of my windows are painted shut and it sure would be nice to have a new window that I can open. I wonder why people who own rentals don't take better care of them. I mean, how hard is it to tape off a border and NOT paint a freaking window shut? I'm also positive that my house is full of lead. The house was built in the late 20's and hasn't really been updated.
Tonight we are having a going away party for Cindy Adams. I stocked up on the mircro-brew beer and made creme brulee, yummy.
ok.. few more hours to go till PARTY TIME. I WILL make it thru this day!!
