JD and I drove up to Colorado this past weekend for the Outlaw Snowdown festival and to celebrate Mcgoo's 50th bday. So much fun and the scenery is so darn pretty.

Ya know, I was actually going to wear my contact lenses this night but I am a nerd and neglected to read the HUGE red warning label on Haley's contact len's solution that said "DO NO PUT IN YOUR EYE" ... needless to say, I burned my left eyeball and ruined my contact lens.

 Inside Kuma's. I wasn't that impressed with Kuma's. It was cool and good but I don't think i'd wait the normal 1+ hour it usually is to eat there. I was impressed with the beers. I had a Banana Bread Beer!!

 One of the best secret snapshops i've ever taken. I had the camera at my waist and was looking the other way. It's amazingly perfect-so happy!!!

Never enough time to accomplish all I want to in the City. Next time i'm taking the red eye out Friday and coming back on a Tuesday. I had a nice time and it was good to see my family, David, Yoli, Haley and Rachel ;o)
and a shitty sounding video I made at the Archers of Loaf show Saturday. Look how steady it is-damn-i'm usually all fidgety. I don't know why some of my pics are in black boxes, forgive blogger for that.

Weekend in a Nut.

The only complaint I have about my Leica is that the zoom SUCKS ASS! This is the best I could do with it folks. Prairie Home Companion in Tucson this past Saturday. It was interesting and cool-hard to pay attention with so much going on. I kinda wanted to just shut my eyes and listen but I didn't want Meg to think I fell asleep ;o).. I'm notorious for falling asleep while watching things. I even fell asleep at a bar once. I think I fall asleep during nearly every DVD I watch at home. If I start it past 8pm I'm def a goner. 37 yr old GRANDMA here. Oh, Dave Rawlings Machine was one of the main bands with some of the guys from Old Crow Medicine Show (Ketch Secor, Willie Watson, Morgan Jahnig) and Gillian Welch was playing with them as well. They were really good.

I love the old houses in Tucson and they are finally just about done with the damn freeway construction! Check out the Javelina's we saw near Meg's cousin's house. I still find it hard to believe we don't have any behind our house. I had some coyotes right outside our house this morning eating the old dog food I poured out there. Prob not a good thing to do. I thought the birds would eat it.... the birds apparently don't like Alpo. (NO I do not feed my dogs that shitty food, somebody gave it to me)

Our friend Dallas had a vintage clothing sale. I got to see Sonia's newly refurbished kitchen and some peeps I haven't seen in a while. I was good and only purchased two items. The shirt above and a denim shirt with bee's embroidered on it. I should have tried the one above on bcuz it looks a bit silly on so I'm going to alter the fluttery sleeves and take in the puffy sides. It has the Illinois State bird on it -The Cardinal. Nearly forgot-Dana and I also hit up the Gospel Brunch at her friends house.
