Weekend.

I had to go to Home Depot (I love hardware stores) to get some casters, which, turns out I didn't need anyways so I guess it was a good thing my debit card was denied HA! It just sucks when you drive somewhere, take your time to find what you want and then get to the register and get declined. Anyways, on the way to H.D. I took side streets and went thru some neighborhoods north of us and saw a few super cool houses a funny all American boat and a perfect lil trailer. I started on my homemade pallet couch project and this is all I have so far. I need an old door and a twin size mattress.

I covered it up with a rug to protect it from the harsh AZ sun and Ruby decided to make it her bed.

Went thrifting Saturday and scored the above items. I really like the flapper girl head and the lil birdy. The eagle bike mesh shirt is prob 80's? I'm not sure tho. Mcgoo-the last shirt explains it all-it's on it's way.

Sunday we went to Postino's. It changed my view of the place. Esp since the last time Brittany and I went and left w/o ordering the last time because the cheapest wine they had was $9 a glass. Everyday from 11-5 they have a great happy hour- $5 pitchers! $5 WINE! The food was delicious. I ordered this-SELECT TWO $9.5 -so I chose the Prosciutto with Brie panini-Prosciutto with triple cream brie, fig jam and arugula with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and the Raspberry Chicken Organic chicken salad with pecans, apples, gorgonzola (I replaced that with parmesan) and mayo served with raspberry vinaigrette over a bed of fresh greens. Then I had the Salted Caramel Sundae $5…vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered corn nuts, pretzel stick, and salted caramel-YUMMMY!!!!! The bruschetta is pretty damn good as well. I topped it all off with the $5 pitcher of I.P.A. By the time I was done I had to go home and take a nap and then a LOOONG walk to try to walk it all off so I can still fit in my jeans. I took a pic of that gold couch bcuz it's something that would fit perfect in my living space. I don't know who those ladies are-I tried to get a pic when it wasn't occupied but the place was busy. It would be even better if it was blue velvet. It's not for sale tho.. I wish I could find that at a thriftstore.
